Mollans-sur-Ouvèze is a nice village located between fields of vineyards on both banks of Ouveze river, about 12 km east of Vaison-la-Romaine and 20 km south of Nyons. The old town is full of narrow streets. There is a beautiful medieval bridge connecting both parts of the town. On one side of the bridge you can find the clock tower, and on the other side there's marvellous fountain, called the "Dolphin's Fountain". Next to it you can see pretty roofed wash-house with seven arcades.
The town has a fairly large nice parking lot (P; GPS: 44.237566, 5.190278) located on the Rue Porte Major street, right next to the mayor's office. We parked here the car and then started exploring the town.
We go the Rue Porte Major street into the town, passing the town hall on the right side (A; GPS: 44.237297, 5.190598), and then the first of encountered fountains (B; GPS: 44.237215, 5.190708). We get to L'Ouvèze river, where we find beautiful medieval bridge (C; GPS: 44.236225, 5.190711). From the bridge we can see a nice panorama of the old town. There is also a clock tower from the beginning of eighteenth century (D; GPS: 44.236436, 5.190931). In the past there were three similar towers guarding the bridge, and currently only the one survived. On the other side of the bridge there is a small square with a fountain called "Dolphin's Fountain" (E; GPS: 44.235911, 5.190350) and a laundry, which is a typical element encountered in Provencal towns. We go back over the bridge, then turn right and head towards the medieval castle (F; GPS: 44.237552, 5.192641), unfortunately inaccessible for tourists (in private hands). Below the castle there is interesting church of Saint-Marcel from eighteenth century (G; GPS: 44.237636, 5.191928).
