Eygalières is a nice, quiet town located only a few kilometers east of Saint-Remy-de-Provence, with interesting ruins and great views. It is surrounded by picturesque Alpilles hills, olive groves and vine fields. As usual in the case of the villages of Provence, it is situated on top of a small hill.
We park the car in a small parking lot (P1; GPS: 43.759474, 4.949689) nearby the headquarters of local authorities. You can also park at the church (P2; GPS: 43.762134, 4.948909).
After leaving the car we go down the Rue de la République street in the northern direction. We pass by beautiful stone houses, almost always surrounded by greenery and many flowers.
