Sightseeing in Rabac

Let’s take a walk through Rabac, a picturesque seaside town located on the eastern coast of Istria. Let’s begin our stroll! We are now on the promenade along Maršala Tita Street (A; GPS: 45.07850634, 14.15713561). Look at the calm bay — do you see those boats gently swaying on the water? Rabac is known as the "pearl of Kvarner," and we can immediately understand why as we gaze at the crystal-clear sea and the charming houses with red roofs.

Still walking along the scenic promenade, we can admire the turquoise waters of the Adriatic and the surrounding hills covered in pine trees. This is the perfect place to take a break and enjoy the view at one of the waterfront cafés.

When we reach Lanterna Beach (B; GPS: 45.073219280, 14.166168943), we will see another unique spot in Rabac. This is a peaceful, less crowded beach that offers excellent conditions for snorkeling. The water here is exceptionally clear, and the underwater world is full of rich fauna and flora. It’s an ideal place to relax in silence and be close to nature.

Let’s continue along the promenade toward Girandella Beach (C; GPS: 45.0772008, 14.17064875). This place is perfect for beach lovers. Here, we can not only enjoy the beautiful views but also notice the excellent infrastructure — beach bars, places to rent water equipment, and shaded areas under the palms.
